Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. The current president is and the controlling owner for the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss born in California was raised with an affluent background. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, before becoming the owner of the Lakers. Her parents divorced in 1972. separated together and she felt lost. In the year 19 she became the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. Later, she founded the Los Angeles Blades, a professional roller-hockey team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice president of the Lakers. Buss along with her five siblings and brothers as well as their father who was the owner of the Lakers and was their controlling shareholder until his death in 2013, inherited this ownership by way of a trust. The five siblings were entitled to equally voting rights. She assumed the office as the head of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional organization that has its headquarter within Los Angeles.
