Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actor in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first acting experience began in the early 2000s. Her debut lead performance in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well in the theater. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be an immediate success in the box office. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she had opted out of some films, which she started to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short films. In addition, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. However, the film is delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September in 2020, under the new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay.
